What it is

Triage It! is a focused trainer for START (Simple Triage And Rapid Treatment) — the national standard for sorting casualties at a mass-casualty incident. Patients are procedurally generated, so every drill is different, and the difficulty settings change both which patients you see and how each card is written.

How it works

Training mode — self-paced, one patient at a time. Tag, see the verdict, and read the full START rationale. Pick a deck from Sprint (10) to Marathon (100), and finish with a letter grade and after-action report.
Game mode — a 3-minute MCI scene with multiple patients deteriorating in real time. Untreated yellows turn red; untreated reds die on your watch. Scored on speed and accuracy.
Classroom mode — host a live drill from your laptop; students join from their phones with a lobby code. Watch a live dashboard, then debrief the most-missed cards as a group.
Difficulty toggles — HARD parks vitals right at the algorithm threshold; EXPERT turns the narratives into red herrings. Stack them for the tightest calls.
